Actor Rejects Anti-Vax Position After Narrating Controversial Covid Film

Liam Neeson has lent his narration to a recent film that challenges the safety of vaccines and praises ex- cabinet secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Feature's Provocative Origins

Named "Plague of Corruption," the project is inspired by a bestselling book written by a disgraced researcher, who gained notoriety during the health crisis for claims that Covid was a result of a bad strain of the influenza shot.

Her collaborator, the executive producer, has penned books with conspiracy-prone media personality Alex Jones. The producer recently posted hailing Neeson's involvement in the project.

A Firm Denial

Representatives for the actor have released a response pushing back against implications that he supports anti-vaccine beliefs.

"We all acknowledge that unethical practices can exist within the medical sector, but that must not be equated to rejection of vaccines," the response explains. "Liam is not, and cannot be described as, anti-vax. His long work with the UN children's agency reinforces his long-held support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

It added that the actor did not shape the project's messaging and that inquiries about its content ought to go to the creators.

Central Claims Featured in the Documentary

As presented, the narration spoken by Neeson includes several strong statements:

  • It states that pro-immunization voices have called for "unconditional submission" to health authorities.
  • It argues that "research has become dangerously influenced by politics."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is shown saying, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they are not safely tested."
  • The film also criticizes Covid lockdowns, saying they caused psychological harm that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Regarding pandemic shots, it mentions a view that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Historical Context and Current Issues

The documentary also references a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was subsequently the focus of a BBC apology by the broadcaster for violations of guidelines.

In recent weeks, RFK Jr directed the national health agency to revise its longstanding position that there is no link between vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. This supposed link is also referenced in the film, contrary to a new report from the global health body reiterating no evidence has been found.

An Earlier Position of Endorsement

Contrasting the film's narrative, Neeson has formerly voiced strong support for vaccines in his position as a charity ambassador.

Two years ago, he called vaccines as "a remarkable human success story," adding that "The discourse about vaccines in the past few years has overlooked how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in our history."

The film ends with Neeson's voice proclaiming, "This isn't the conclusion of our story. Rather, it is the start of a different phase."
