Netflix Selects Spot-On Actor for Bentham in the Hit Series Season 3

The Secret Organization is poised to exert significant influence in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, though the major clash won’t unfold until the third season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has now been chosen.

Netflix announced recently that the skilled actor is now part of the One Piece cast for the third season and will portray Bentham. This character can use their power to morph into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve touched with their right hand. The performer, who is identifies as non-binary and goes by they/them, will depict a rendition of that character reinterpreted as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag artist, in the live-action show, unlike the initial comic and animated series.

Escola is joined by a number of recently announced actors set to bring Baroque Works to reality, including head Mr. 0, portrayed by the seasoned performer, a talented actress as Miss Goldenweek, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who is also part of the ensemble as King Nefertari Cobra of Alabasta.

Although the role is a key figure of the organization, the character won’t make their debut One Piece the third season. Given the next season likely to portray the Little Garden segment, this marks a significant shift in the timing of the character’s debut, one that could indicate further changes to the story’s structure.

The actor’s combination of sharp comedic timing and profound feeling makes them a ideal selection for the character. Besides their recent voice performance in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and multiple awards for penning and acting in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, highlighting the versatility they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s widely praised characters.

The platform’s adapted One Piece show is set to return for its season two on the tenth of March, 2026.
